How to download & set up

Ten minutes, one time, on a Mac. After that your phone runs on its own.

1. Install Wander on your iPhone ⌄
  1. On your Mac, open the Wander Installer (from the Download section above).
  2. Sign in with your free Apple ID — no paid developer account needed.
  3. Click Install Wander. It signs the app and installs it to your connected iPhone automatically.
2. Trust it & enable Developer Mode ⌄
  1. On the iPhone: Settings → General → VPN & Device Management → trust your Apple ID.
  2. Turn on Settings → Privacy & Security → Developer Mode → restart when asked.
  3. (The Developer Mode toggle only appears after Wander is installed — that's normal.)
3. Get the tunnel app ⌄
  1. Install LocalDevVPN free from the App Store — it's the secure tunnel Wander uses.
  2. Connect it on Wi-Fi. No Wi-Fi? Turn on Airplane Mode first, then connect it — works on cellular.
4. Open Wander & go ⌄
  1. Launch Wander and tap Get Started. The setup checklist confirms everything's ready.
  2. Drop a pin, grab the joystick, or plan a route — you're anywhere now.
  3. Wander refreshes itself, so you won't need the computer again.
